Usage, quotas & spending
Every successful unique request is counted once.
Monthly request quota
The free plan permits 1,000 successful requests per organization per monthly billing period (the next reset is displayed in California time in your console). Usage increments atomically, so parallel requests cannot bypass the quota.
No surprise upgrades
Free-tier requests stop at the quota. There is no automatic paid upgrade. Paid plans and usage-based billing remain disabled until Stripe and approved pricing are configured.
Spending controls
A per-service monthly usage spending limit defaults to $0. The console accepts amounts in integer cents. Raising a limit does not activate a paid plan or grant permission to charge a payment method.
Reliable retries
A saved response is returned for identical idempotent retries. Invalid input, denied requests and idempotent repeats do not increment request usage.
